In last year’s tournament over four thousand unique votes were cast raising nearly $1,000 to support the tournament’s charities, Casting for Recovery, the Bonefish and Tarpon Trust and Stripers Forever. This year over $5,000 worth of prizes are at stake and we hope to quadruple participation. More than 15 awesome prizes have been donated by Cheeky Fly Fishing, Thomas & Thomas, Howler Brothers, Kast Gear, Sarah Lauridsen Art, Montana Fly Company, Patagonia, Maui Jim, Fishpond, The Fly Shop, Jim Teeny, Mud Dog Saltwater Flies, Free Fly Apparel, Nomad Fly Fishing, Vedavoo and The Fiberglass Manifesto.Â
Here’s how is works…fill out brackets by selecting which fish you prefer in each matchup. Starting March 13th, fisherman will vote for their favorite fish in each matchup, and just as in March Madness, the fish that wins each matchup advances to the next round.
