I definitely remember catching Bluefish with pieces of other fish in their mouths. Or having them puke up half digested fish. But you don’t really expect to see that when you catch a trout. If you start watching right around the 1 minute mark you can see a HUNGRY Brown Trout. Apparently he wanted a little desert with his dinner.

Huge Ribbon Fish

I could definitely come up with a good fishing story from this picture. Also, why aren’t these guys smiling? If I caught a fish this long I would be psyched!

This 12ft long Ribbon fish was caught in Taiwan and helped spark Tsunami and Earthquake fears.  You can read more about it here.

When sitting down to write this review I was trying to think about what I really look for in a pair of sunglasses. They need to provide good coverage, eye protection is a must; you never know where those hooks are going to end up. The lenses need to have great optical clarity, and they must be durable – lenses can be crystal clear but they can’t get scratched by the first twig to brush your glasses. They need to provide good contrast on the water to give you the ability to see into the water in more conditions. And finally, they need to look good.

This past weekend Mike and I decided to target the ferocious Bull Trout and to help our quest, I brought a six pack of Mighty Arrow from New Belgium.  The weekend started with an early 5 am wake-up call to heavy rain, but after 2 hours of driving the sky cleared and we pulled up to the secret Bull Trout location. More then the weather had turned in our favor–the Bull Trout were ready to play.  You know the weekend is headed in the right direction when you get your first ever Bull Trout double.

Royal Virility Performance: A British Beer Laced With Viagra

Wow! What a combination.  Royal Virility Performance is a British beer that is laced with Viagra.  Three of these beers are equal to one little blue pill.  The beer has been created in honor of the Royal Wedding, apparently Brewdog (the makers of the beer) have already sent numerous bottles to Prince William for the wedding night.

As a fisherman I am going to recommend against drinking this beer on the river and I don’t think that I have to list the reasons. Well here are two reasons, first off, it will be uncomfortable and secondly it might make things with other fisherman a little awkward.
